38th CISO Deep Dive Training Programme
National e-Governance Division (NeGD), under its Capacity Building scheme, organised the 38th batch of CISO Deep-Dive training programme.
- The purpose of the program is to enable Government departments on steps that need to be taken to create a cyber resilient eco system.
- To build capacity of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and frontline IT officials, Cyber Surakshit Bharat initiative of MeitY has also been conceptualised.
- The deep-dive training specifically aims at educating and enabling CISOs to understand cyber-attacks and get necessary exposure to the latest technologies for safeguarding e-infrastructure.

- It was launched in 2018 by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
- The main objective of this initiative is to spread awareness about cyber security and best practices.
About NeGD
- National e-Governance Division was created by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology in 2009.
- It was created as an Independent Business Division under the Digital India Corporation {erstwhile Media Lab Asia}.
- Since 2009, NeGD has been playing a pivotal role in supporting MeitY in Programme Management and implementation of the e-Governance Projects.
- It also provides technical and advisory support to Ministries/ Departments, both at Central and State levels.
- NeGD has developed and is managing several National Public Digital Platforms such as:
- DigiLocker,
- UMANG,
- OpenForge,
- API Setu, Poshan Tracker,
- National Academic Depositories,
- India Stack Global, among other things.
